Your first Face Reality appointment includes a comprehensive skin analysis, your initial customized acne treatment, and a personalized at-home skincare regimen selected for your skin’s needs. Your Acne Expert will guide you through each step, explain how to use your products, and establish a treatment schedule to keep you moving toward clearer skin. With professional support, consistent home care, and regular appointments, you’ll have a clear plan to help you achieve your skin goals.

Time for Treatment:

30 minutes of acne treatment time + 30-45 minutes of in-depth skin analysis, consultation, treatment plan, acne education and home regimen consult

Ingredients:

Mild corrective peels are used to boost the home care along with extractions of existing acne. If your skin is dry or irritated, we will opt for an enzyme treatment and extractions.

Your acne consultation is all about understanding your skin and creating a plan to help you achieve clearer, healthier skin! Your Acne Expert will review your skin history, current products, lifestyle, and acne concerns before performing a thorough skin analysis. Together, you’ll discuss your goals, learn about the Face Reality Acne Program, and determine the best treatment and personalized at-home routine for your skin. We’ll also review the importance of consistency, lifestyle habits, and regular appointments so you know exactly what to expect on your journey toward clearer skin.

Cleansing and toning

Using a mix of active and non-active ingredients to increase cellular energy, we remove oil/dirt/bacteria and prepare the skin

Exfoliation

Very mild corrective peels are used. If your skin is dry or irritated, we will opt for an enzyme treatment and extractions.

Extractions

Properly remove blackheads, congestion, and active breakouts. We prepare the skin appropriately for gentle extractions and do not force extract anything that is not ready.

Spot Treatment

A spot treatment is applied as recommended to affected areas to reduce inflamed acne.

SPF

An SPF is applied at the end of the service.

Concluding the facial, your esthetician will work with you to find your best next steps toward your skin goal.

BEFORE & AFTER

Before your appointment, discontinue retinol derivatives, tretinoin, and exfoliating products for at least two weeks, as directed. Your first visit includes a skin analysis, your initial acne treatment, and a customized home care plan. For the first 90 days, appointments are recommended every two weeks, along with consistent use of your prescribed Face Reality regimen and adherence to your Acne Expert’s guidance. Purchasing your recommended Face Reality products is required before receiving additional treatments.
