Before starting your facial hair removal in Kansas City, our team will being the process with a consultation to give provide a safe wax with your desired results.

Prep

First, we will clean and prep the area with Mandelic Purifying Tonic for antibacterial support. This tonic is especially  effective for those who experience breakouts post waxing. Next, we will apply a grape seed oil to provide a protective barrier to the skin.

Map & wax

If we are waxing the brows, we will map the brows for proper wax placement before proceeding with the wax.

Post wax

Before applying our post treatment products, we will hand you the mirror to ensure everything looks perfect for you!

If you have acne prone skin or skin that commonly experiences breakouts post wax, we will then clean the area again with the Mandelic Purifying Tonic. Then we apply a Calming Skin Gel to reduce redness or irritation. The end result is noticeably smoother skin almost immediately after.

After your facial hair removal in Kansas City, minimal redness can occur depending on skin sensitivities (let us know if you are more sensitive so we can accommodate to reduce discomfort and redness). Clients will leave with a calming skin gel on the skin that will help cool the area back down faster.

Continual, regular waxing will extend the regrowth process by getting the hair on the same growth cycle and pulling the hair out by the root, causing it to take longer to grow back. If you have never had a wax before but are a regular tweezer, it can take about 3 consecutive waxes to sync the growth cycles (without tweezing anything in between waxes!)
